TACC saw a 15% drop in energy consumption post-Chilldyne system install. Here’s the breakdown. This energy savings does not include the savings that you can get by running warmer water through the servers. TACC does not have a warm water cooling loop, but if one was available, the savings would be another 15-25%. Thanks to ARPA-E and TACC for supporting this research.
